One-day International Conference-School for young scientists “Advanced Carbon Nanostructures and methods of their Diagnostics”

July 1, 2015, St.Petersturg, Russia

4th one-day International Conference-School for young scientists “Advanced Carbon Nanostructures and methods of their Diagnostics” (CSYS’2015) is organized in the frame of ACNS’2015 conference and will be held on Wednesday July 1, 2015 in St Petersburg, Russia. CSYS’2015 follows the tradition of previous Conference-Schools, held during «Fullerenes and Atomic Clusters” (IWFAC’2009) and “Advanced Carbon Nanostructures” (ACN’2011 and ACNS’2013) conferences.

The heads of Conference-School are Corresponding Member of RAS, Prof. V.V. Afrosimov and Corresponding Member of RAS, Prof. M.V. Kovalchuk.

Any participant of ACNS'2015 conference can be a listener of the Conference-School. The official language of the Conference-School is Russian except the events common with ACNS’2015 conference. Young scientists can take part in the Conference-School independently of their participation in the Conference. The participation in the Conference-School does not require a registration fee.

The program of the Conference-School includes invited lectures as well as special poster and oral sessions of short presentations. We will provide all the participants with a tutorial material in English.

During the short presentations session each scientist of 28 years old and younger can present his(her) report on the techniques for diagnostic of carbon nanostructures. The best presentation will be awarded with a certificate of merit and a valuable gift.

Traditionally the topics of invited lectures of the speakers cover carbon nanostructures, especially of the new types.

The topics of CSYS’2015 include graphene-containing materials. The lectures will cover not only methods of diagnostics but also the fabrication and properties as well as applications of these materials in different devices.

CSYS’2015 will be held on Wednesday July 1, 2015 in St Petersburg, Russia in the frame of ACNS’2015 conference.
